Scandinavia YAMAHA SMT distributor extends territory to boost sales & support in the Baltic region

Yamaha Motor Europe SMT Section is announcing that CORE-emt, the appointed distributor for Scandinavia, is extending responsibility for sales and support to also cover Estonia.
The decision is based on CORE-emt’s success in Scandinavia, in recognition of their support of Yamaha customers, commitment, and ability to connect with electronics businesses throughout northern countries.

“The synergy is perfect as Scandinavian and Baltic companies already collaborate extensively in electronics engineering and manufacturing,” said Steen V. Haugbølle, Managing Director of CORE-emt, which appointed Finnish Kai Koivunen as their dedicated sales representative in Finland in 2016. “This expansion is an exciting opportunity for CORE-emt. For years we have been adding on knowledge and manpower in both our sales and service department to offer the OEM and EMS businesses we serve the very best.”

Steen added, “The CORE-emt team is highly motivated and ready to confirm Yamaha’s faith in us by strengthening customer support and growing our presence in the Baltic region.”

“As the winner of Yamaha’s ‘Most Valuable Distributor’ award in 2017, CORE-emt is one of our best performing distributors” said Pierre Williams, Yamaha Area Sales Manager for Scandinavia, Baltic, UK, Ireland & South Africa. “To lead development in Estonia is the natural next step for this relationship. Steen and his team bring passion and the energy that is sure to deliver success.”

As in Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland), CORE-emt will represent the complete Yamaha SMT line equipment in Estonia. This include the Sigma and hybrid iPulse mounters, YS series printers, mounters, inspection machines, component towers, accessories including smart feeders and Factory Tools 4.0 software. Together, these create the unique Yamaha Full-Line Solution, which simplifies support for customers and realises technical advantages that enhance productivity, line maintenance and product traceability.
