The inaugural Robotics World Technician Grand Prix 2018 has been held in new premises of Robotics Operations on 8th and 9th November. The representative engineers on our distributors from all over the world who are doing services on SMT business get together and the No.1 Engineer is decided through this competition. In this time, 28 engineers from 11 countries (Japan, USA, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Viet nam, Indonesia, India, Italy and Turkey) participated and the competition got excited well.

The competition was composed by the practical and written tests. The practical test evaluated the troubleshooting on an actual machine and the written test examined the knowledge and experience about service. As the result, Mr. Yasuhiko Nakagawa (MASS CO., LTD.) won the 1th prize by a narrow margin and proved the high-level service in Japan.

In future, we continuously strengthen engineers’ motivation and build up engineers’ skill, also supply our high-quality service to our customers, and construct the service structure which is in strong relationship with our distributors, in order to create “Kando” cycle by our service.
