Yamaha Motor IM incorporates Hitachi High Tech Group

Since 1st April 2015, Yamaha Motor IM Europe incorporated the Hitachi Sigma Mounter Platform into the Yamaha portfolio of SMT Mounters, Printers, Dispensers, Hybrid Placers and Inspection / X-Ray machines. Hitachi High-Tech Instruments has been responsible for the development, manufacture, and servicing of chip mounters and peripheral equipment.

The transfer of assets from Hitachi High-Tech Group strengths Yamaha’s technical foundations in the high-speed mounter market and creates further opportunities for expanding Yamaha’s customer base and ultimately enhances their surface mounter business. Every Yamaha’s brand is completely designed and manufactured in a Yamaha facility by Yamaha personnel.

Yamaha Motors IM ensures its commitment to supporting the Sigma Series Platform, and will continue with honor to provide world class support to legacy Hitachi Mounter High Tech’s customers by Yamaha Motor IM Europe. Hitachi customers can interact with Yamaha’s experts. Yamaha has a plan to add substantial technical depth and resources to the team to further enhance their engineering support.

Yamaha Motor IM Europe will showcase the Sigma Series G5S Platform among Yamaha’s portfolio ranging from Screen Printing and Dispensing to Placement, AOI solutions and Factory Control Software at SMT Hybrid Packaging 2015 on stand 121 in hall 7 from 05-07 May 2015 in Nuremberg, Germany.
